At First Consulting Alliance (FCA), we believe in the power of community and the importance of social sustainability. For many years, we have been working closely with Edenvale Child Welfare, supporting their efforts through various outreach initiatives. Today, we want to raise awareness about the challenges faced by organizations like Edenvale Child Welfare due to government subsidy cuts. We cannot allow the crucial work they do to stop, as it would result in hardships that no child should ever have to endure. FCA has made contributions to assist with immediate needs, but we recognize that ongoing support is essential to ensure the well-being of these children. We invite both individuals and corporations to join us in making a difference.
One of the primary needs of Edenvale Child Welfare is providing groceries for their Pinocchio Educare and outreach food parcels. Items such as mince, Vienna sausages, chicken fillets, wors, polony, frozen vegetables, bottled beetroot, fruit, cheese, biscuits, juices, rice, mealie meal, samp, macaroni, spaghetti, sugar, milk/milk powder, and non-perishable foods are essential for sustaining these children. Tinned fish, tuna, onion/tomato mix, baked beans, and tinned veggies are also in high demand. FCA has contributed, but the need for ongoing food security remains.
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the children, Edenvale Child Welfare requires support in repairs and maintenance. Contributions can include toiletries such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors. Additionally, providing kiddies' tables and chairs, interlocking rubber mats for Educare classes, cleaning agents like Handy Andy and dishwasher liquid, and sponsoring repairs and maintenance activities like damp proofing and gutter repairs would greatly benefit the organization.
Edenvale Child Welfare also needs assistance with administrative and Educare stationery supplies. These include items like crayons, playdough, retractable wax crayons, pencil crayons, glue sticks, A4 cardboard files, staples, file fasteners, plastic sleeves, and wall charts for the Educare classes (numbers, letters, etc.).
